Terms of Service
Effective date: [04/05/2026]
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Enlite (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By engaging our services, you (“the client”, “you”) agree to these Terms.
2. Services
Enlite provides web design, development, and related digital services.
The scope of each project will be agreed upon before work begins. Any additional work outside the agreed scope may be subject to additional fees.
3. Payments
Payments are required as agreed before or during the project.
We use Stripe or other agreed methods to process payments.
Work may not begin until payment (or deposit) is received
Final files or website access may be withheld until full payment is made
Ongoing services (e.g. monthly updates) must be paid in advance
Late Payments
If payment is not made by the agreed due date:
We reserve the right to pause all work
A late fee may be applied (e.g. 5–10% of the outstanding amount or a fixed fee)
Continued non-payment may result in project termination
4. Revisions and Scope
We will provide a reasonable number of revisions as agreed per project.
Requests that go beyond the original scope (e.g. additional pages, major redesigns, new features) will be quoted separately.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide all required content, information, and materials in a timely manner
Ensure you have the rights to use any content you supply
Respond to communications promptly
Delays in providing materials may result in delays to the project timeline.
6. Project Timelines
We aim to complete projects within agreed timeframes.
However, timelines may vary depending on:
Client responsiveness
Scope changes
External factors beyond our control
We are not liable for delays caused by these factors.
7. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment:
You will own the final website and deliverables
We retain the right to:
Showcase the work in our portfolio
Use non-confidential elements for marketing purposes
Any third-party assets (e.g. fonts, plugins) remain subject to their own licenses.
8. Hosting and Third-Party Services
Websites may be built using third-party platforms such as Framer.
We are not responsible for:
Downtime or issues caused by third-party platforms
Changes in pricing or policies from those providers
9. Ongoing Services
If you engage us for ongoing services (e.g. updates or maintenance):
Services will continue on a recurring basis as agreed
Either party may terminate with reasonable notice (e.g. 14–30 days)
No refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period
10. Cancellation and Termination
Client Cancellation
If you cancel a project after work has begun:
You will be invoiced for work completed up to that point
A cancellation (“kill”) fee may apply (e.g. 25–50% of the remaining project value)
Termination by Us
We reserve the right to terminate services if:
Payments are not made
There is abusive, inappropriate, or unreasonable behaviour
The client breaches these Terms
Upon termination, any outstanding fees remain payable.
11. Support and Communication
We aim to provide reliable support, but boundaries apply:
Support is provided during reasonable business hours
We are not obligated to respond instantly or outside working hours
Ongoing support is only included if agreed as part of a maintenance or monthly plan
12. Liability
We aim to deliver high-quality work, but:
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
We do not guarantee specific business results (e.g. sales, traffic)
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the services
13. Data and Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be made available on our website.
